İngilizcede Zamanlar
The Present Simple is used to speak about things in
general.
Genel Zaman Sürgit
yinelenen olayların veya alışkanlıkların anlatımında kullanılır.
It's not only used
to talk about now. It's used to say that somethinghappens all the timeoragain and again, or thatsomething
is generally true. The action doesn't need
to be happening at the time of speaking.
When we speak about
grammartense in English,
we are referring to the verb, as in thetense
of the verb (or the time of the verb).
The tense indicates
the time, such as past, present or future, as well as the continuance
(is the action continued?) or completion (is the action
finished?) of the action or state.
When do we use the Simple Present?
We use
the Simple Present when:
the
action is general
the
action happens all the time, or habitually
the
action is not only happening now
the
statement is always true

How do we know
when the verb stays in the basic form without an "s" and
when we should add the "s" to the verb?
Bu
zamanı başarılı olarak kullanabilmek için Olumlu Cümlelerde
He She ve It
ile veya bunların NOUN karşılığı olan Öznelerle başlayan cümlelerde
fiile "s" eklenir.
( Soru cümlerinde ve Olumsuz cümlelerde bu kural kesinlikle
uygulanmaz fiil sözlükteki halinde kalır)
Does He
She
+ eat simit.
It
Fiil "s" takısı almadı
He
She does not
eat simit.
It
Fiil "s" takısı almadı
You can see from
the examples above that when we use the
personal pronouns He or She or It, we add
the "s" to the verb to make the present simple form.
When
we use the personal pronouns They or I or We,
then we don't add any "s" . We use the verb "do/does"
to form questions and negative statements.
