Türkçemizde nasıl geçmişle sınırlı olaylardan söz ederken di-li geçmiş zaman kullanılır ise İngilizcede de fiilin past formu kullanılarak bu amaca ulaşılır. Düzenli fiillerde bu iş çok kolayken düzensiz fiiller bizi biraz zorlar. İyi ki bu tür sorunlu fillerin en çok kullanılanları 100 bilemediniz 150 kadardır.		When we speak about grammar *tense in English, we are referring to the verb, as in the tense of the verb. The tense indicates the time, such as past, present* or future, as well as the continuance (is the action continued?) or completion (is the action finished?) of the action or state.

arrive ulaşmak	arrived	It arrived by post. We arrived by car.
