There
are two basic ways to speak about the future in English.
One way is to use "will" and the other you use "going to".
When we speak about
grammar tense in
English, we are referring to the verb, as in
the tense (or time) of the verb.
The tense indicates the time, such as past, present or future, as well
as the continuance (is the action continued?) or completion (is
the action finished?) of the action or state.

The difference between using
"will" and using "going to"
Sometimes there isn't much
difference between using "will" or using "going to". When we say that
something is "going to" happen, we know (or believe) this because of what
is happening now. In other situations it is safer to use "will".
